Vision of the Department “To provide equal and ample opportunities to both Divyang and normal students by grooming their competencies for research innovation and development in various knowledge domains of computer science and engineering.” Mission of the Department • To achieve high academic standards in the field of computer science and engineering by imparting quality technical education. • To provide inspirational teaching which encourage students in becoming lifelong learners. • To provide state of art laboratory and other infrastructural facilities in the department of CSE in order to make it as an excellent centre for research and innovation. • To inculcate core values of integrity excellence, transparency and empathy among students. • To provide inclusive teaching learning environment for students to make them proficient for word of work. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering came up in existence since the inception of the Institute. The department has grown in strength in terms of infrastructures and faculty. The sophisticated computer labs are equipped with more than 200 latest configuration computers. Every lab is equipped with its dedicated server and interconnected via routers and Wi-Fi. Department is equipped with smart classroom. Careers in computer science and engineering remain in very high demand and offer not only the comforts of a high-paying job, but also the intellectual challenges of a creative and productive profession. The department is consistently striving hard to offer a high quality, state-of-the-art education in computer science and engineering at an affordable cost. We are especially proud of the long and sustained placement records of our Bachelor students in different multinational software industries and higher education at different top-class Indian universities after qualifying GATE/GRE/TOEFL. Seminars and workshops are organized at regular intervals where eminent academicians and industry stalwarts share their experiences and thoughts with students and faculty members. Through these seminar/workshops and periodic trainings conducted on and off-campus help students be aware of new research areas and current trends in industry practices.
