Poster Presentation Details
Following is the general guidlines for poster presentation -
- Posters should be on 90(width) by 100(height) cm.
- Each poster will be assigned a poster number which will be shown on the poster Board.
- Presenting authors should remain near their poster during poster session to interact with delegates and juries.
- During the poster session, you should be prepared to give a 3-4 minute summary about your project. Be sure to ask your audience if they have questions or comments at the end. You might also consider having a brief handout to share.
- Don’t use more than two fonts. Instead use bold, italic, and font size to set type differently.
- Times New Roman, Arial, and Garamond are suggested typefaces.
- Titles should be at least 2 inches high.
- The body type for the main sections should be at least 18 point if possible.
- Words should be large enough to read from several feet away, but don’t use all caps.
- Stick to a color scheme.
- Be consistent with your white space between sections of text, figures, and headings; white space should be ample so the poster doesn’t look crammed.
